Girls just want to have fun

No matter how actor Ranbir Kapoor’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh react to the sarcastic comments made by actors Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone on film-maker Karan Johar’s TV chat show, the girls seem to be unapologetic about the whole episode.

“There’s nothing to say sorry about. Though they are being pressurised  to retract their statements and say some kind of sorry to the Kapoors, Sonam Kapoor and Padukone are not in the mood to budge. They have explained their point of view and that is all they are willing to do,” says a friend close to both the stars.

After the show, Sonam Kapoor and Padukone have kept in touch with each other and are updating each other about the happenings post the controversy.

“Ranbir has called them and their mutual friends to say that he is very disappointed the way the two women have tarnished his image by portraying him as a playboy. But they’re not bothered,” says the friend.
