George Harrison’s first love remembers her best kiss ever
Late George Harrison’s first girlfriend revealed that she still remembers the first kiss he gave her, and how it was the best kiss ever.

Iris Caldwell revealed in a new documentary Beatles Stories that it was only years later that she realised that Harrison was perhaps dating her in a bid to get into her brother’s band, Rory Storm and The Hurricanes.

“He was really into me, or so I thought. But the main reason was to get into my brother’s group. But his efforts were all in vain because my brother refused to take him in and asked him to come back in a few years time once he can play seriously well," she revealed.

But she still recalls the romance with great fondness and how they had their first kiss at the opening of her brother’s Liverpool skiffle club, The Morgue, where her brother poked fun at her stuffed bra.

“I just ran out the place in absolute hysterics and I could hear these footsteps behind me. All of a sudden, they caught up with me and that person turned me round- it was none other than George- that was our first kiss,” she said.

“That was the best kiss ever in my life and to this day, I remember that feeling in my tummy. Nobody ever kissed me like that; it was beautiful,” she added.
