Gemma Arterton has been cast as a vampire in Oscar-winning filmmaker Neil Jordan's movie Byzantium.
The former Bond girl is reportedly teaming up with Atonement star Saoirse Ronan to play the role of blood-sucking siblings in the film, reports the Sydney Herald Morning.
Filming is expected to start in October with a script by Moira Buffini.
Arterton is also set to star in Crooked House, a murder mystery based on Agatha Christie's 1949 novel of the same name.
