From Aamir to Ajay

Long walks with Kiran Rao, a quiet dinner and then logging on to Facebook for long stretches at night — that sums up Aamir’s Khan’s life right now. The star, who is holidaying in “a remote village in Europe”, has rented a villa and has only his Man Friday and one bodyguard at hand to look after their needs.

“Aamir and Kiran usually go for long walks together every morning. The rest of the day is spent leisurely and they settle for an early dinner,” says a close business associate of Aamir.

That he wanted to cut off from everyone possible and really take a break was clear when he left behind both his and Kiran’s mobile phones in Mumbai. The only real time contact with him now is through social networking sites. Apparently, late in the night, after Kiran goes to sleep, Aamir logs on for long stretches.

“It is impossible to get through to them any other way other than wait for Aamir to log to on chat rooms of social networking sites,” adds the business associate.

“He has registered himself on almost all the social networking sites but not as Aamir Khan. In some cases, he has used his filmy names such as Rehan (Fanaa), Ajay (Sarfarosh), Munna (Rangeela) and others. We see him online for sometimes five hours at a stretch when it is night there.

Some of us who know his pseudonyms wait to catch up with him during that time. Though Aamir is not keen to talk shop, he is keeping himself informed on the post-production work of 3 Idiots.”

Aamir has also posted on his blog that he and Kiran are watching a lot of movies together. He saw Shawshank Redemption recently and was very impressed with it.
