This week, we get actor Sagarika Ghatge of Chake De! India fame to sport the look. The actor, who was in the city for Lifestyle’s Get the Look make-up extravaganza, got a glamourous makeover by Bangalore-based make-up artiste Robert Naorem. “It’s a fun initiative for people to get a makeover. It gives you a fresh change and I totally loved the shoot. The make-up and styling done by Robert Naorem is great and suited the overall look,” says an excited Sagarika.

1. Style that hair
If the make-up, outfits and accessories has done the trick, go simple with your hairdo. Robert just ironed Sagarika’s hair and styled it like a bouffant, using hair spray and gel.

2. Contour my face
Make-up plays an important role in accentuating the overall ensemble. Preparing the face for make up, Robert started with the base. To give Sagarika’s eyes the perfect look, he gave the smokey-eye effect on her lids followed by the kohl and mascara. Finally, a hint of natural blush-on and a nude gloss on the lips completed the task in hand.

3. Check that outfit
Black is the safest bet for such occasions. You can twist and play with the colours for formal events as well for parties. Keeping that in mind, Sagarika picked a black dress that went well with make-up and the theme. Paired with the right footwear and accessories, the actor carried the look off with élan.

4. Accessorise me
Accessories play an important role if you want to look perfect. Sagarika slipped on a pair of black and red high heels and wore a gold beaded neckpiece. She even strapped on a black belt around the waist that made the look formal as well as fashionable.
