Farhan Akhtar to witness Parade live?

Seems like it will be a rather special Republic Day for filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar who will be travelling to the Capital to attend the Republic Day Parade there. He is apparently looking forward to being there for the first time. A source close to him reveals, “Farhan was in Delhi a couple of days back and noticed that the preparations had already begun in full swing. He was very impressed with it and that is when he thought that it would be fun to witness the parade in person. He may also take his kids along, but there is no confirmation about that as yet.”

Padma Bhushan for Dharam?
Padma Awards, the country’s highest civilian awards have been approved for conferment this year. Bollywood has had its share of awards at the civilian awards each year and this year too, there have been a couple of names that have been nominated. The internet yesterday was abuzz with news of veteran actor Dharmendra winning the Padma Bhushan alongwith filmmaker, Mira Nair and Shabana Azmi too have apparently won the civilian honour.
