Farah looks to SRK for TV feedback

Shah Rukh Khan may be a busy man but he always keeps a close tab about what his close friends are up to. Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan was pleasantly surprised when King Khan suddenly appreciated her work as the judge for a reality show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Incidentally SRK’s company Red Chillies is also helping out Farah with her chat show Tere Mere Beech Main in which the company is the line producer.

“The best thing about Shah Rukh is that he knows anything new that’s happening in the industry. He is a very dear friend and he always knows what his close friends are doing. I did not think that he would see the show that I’m judging. He is such a busy man, he hardly has the time but I was touched when he appreciated my show,” Farah told After Hrs on the sets on the reality entertainment show.

Farah adds that SRK has always given her a free hand with her projects. “Shah Rukh  trusts his friends. He has always trusted me with films   —either direction (Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and now Happy New Year) or choreography and he now has confidence in my chat show. He has been there whenever I have needed him” she adds.

And how is Farah managing to stay on the sets for hours when her triplets are back  home? “They do come onto the sets off and on to be with me. They are happy to  visit a new place and with them around, I’m also relaxed and not thinking that I have to go back home right then. That way I’m concentrating on my job well too,” she ends.
