Farah Khan not in the mood for any more parties

After her house-warming party made more news than it should have, choreographer-filmmaker-turned-actor Farah Khan has decided not to have a birthday party at her new pad. The filmmaker and the mother of three turns 47 tomorrow (January 9).

“She will be settling for a family dinner. She just had a party and she had more than her share of news for that. She is not in the mood to have one more party on her birthday. It is going to be a quiet affair,” says one of her friends.

According to sources, Farah has invited quite a few of her closest friends for dinner on her birthday, but not all of them. “Since she is from Bollywood, obviously a few of them are invited to her house, but it’s not going to be a filmi party that happened during her house-warming,” the friend adds.

Both actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were invited for her house-warming party, but neither Shah Rukh nor Gauri Khan turned up at the party. Also, even though Farah introduced Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Salman all over again, both didn’t open up at the do. Farah, of course didn’t anticipate these two minor setbacks according to sources.

“Farah is quite upbeat about her birthday. It seems she is about to make some big announcement on her birthday. She is bubbling with excitement and telling everybody to wait for something big. We don’t know what it is, must be a film,” the source adds.
