Everybody equal before law, opines Salman Khan on Baba Ramdev eviction

In the background of eviction of Yoga guru Baba Ramdev from Ramlila Maidan of Delhi, Bollywood actor Salman Khan today said that every citizen of the country is equal before law.

"Everybody has to follow the law of the land. My baba (father) is at home, industry's baba is Sanjubaba and then there is Saibaba," Khan said when asked for his comments on the eviction of Baba Ramdev from Ramlila Maidan in Delhi by police today.

The Dabangg actor, who has turned producer for the Bollywood flick Chillar Party, said he decided to lend his name to the project because of its potential.

To a question whether the upcoming flick would have got a prestigious platform like IIFA had he not been associated with it, the actor replied saying 'would the media have paid attention to the movie if he was not the producer'.

Chillar Party, co-produced by UTV, will be released on July 8 and premiered at the 12th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) weekend in Toronto in Canada later this month.
