With 60 designers, the ME Show is a shopping extravaganza. Each of them has been profiled all through the week (we hope you’ve made your notes!). Here are the final seven. If you have missed any, don’t worry — see them all tomorrow at the show!
Sonea Bhartia

Formal saris and stitched garments are Sonea Bhartia’s specialty, which she retails under the label ‘Pakkhi’. The emphasis is on texture and embroidery techniques in the form of surface ornamentation with kantha, aari, gota and printing which is mixed and matched with metallic sequins, beads and appliqué. Sonea, has to her credit, a number of high-profile shows like the Wills India Fashion Week, Sham-e-Awadh, DYSN 2004 and more.

Evening bags and clutches from her Beneath the Earth and Energize collection have a natural, earthy yet exotic feel. Exquisite woven fabrics like jute silks, brocades, and raw silks with sequences and semi-precious stones with crafted floral metal motifs, make each clutch classic yet flirty. Supplies to Aza and Azuli in Mumbai, Kahawa in Bangalore, Amethyst in Chennai, and also in Hyderabad.

Alpana
Let your simplicity and elegance dictate your style statement with Alpana Shah’s collection. It includes a new range of tunics and salwar kameezes in georgette, cotton and intricately embroidered linen, giving the entire line a very classy and chic look. The charm lies in its simple detailing.

Trupti Bellad-Hermans
Her label Trupsel will have funky women’s wear. Think tunics and tops in cotton and mul-mul with gold foil stamping. The silhouette is baby doll. The collection also includes summer dresses and corsets.

Karishma Jamwal
For her label, Lotus Sutr, Karishma has used Indian fabrics like Maheshwari cotton, Maharashtrian saris and khand fabric, which the fisherwomen wear, to create a casual yet contemporary look. Indian prints and saris from different states come together in her ensembles (mainly tunics and salwar kameez sets).
