Directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar not on good terms yet

The recent reports suggest that the directors patched up when they met on the sets of a reality show, but it still seems that the cold war is on.

Directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar not on good terms yet

Directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar are both reputed filmmakers and both are known for their different styles of movie making. And till some time back, the two filmmakers had an apparent fallout over Johar's remark in which when he called Saawariya a ‘blue film’. A hurt Johar had publicly lashed out at Bhansali saying that if someone chose to talk to others instead of calling him personally, then maybe that person is not a friend at all. Johar even said that Bhansali probably needs to learn to take himself lightly for a change and not be so serious all the time.

After this, both the directors maintained distance. Now recent reports suggest that the duo patched up when they met on the sets of a reality show. However, if insiders are to be believed, the situation hasn’t changed much. The insider says, “When Johar came on the show, he decided to give the winner of the music reality show a chance to sing in one of his forthcoming films. Then KJo praised the judges — Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also called him one of the finest directors. But Bhansali did not smile or react to this and kept a straight face. He completely ignored the compliment.” Apparently, when KJo hugged Bhansali , Bhansali made it look like he’s doing it out of lack of any choice.

But Karan is not the only factor that upsets SLB, there is one more name who disturbs him — Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan. Yes, the once buddies apparently haven’t patched up yet. A source claims, “When Sanjay was asked to say a few words about Salman, he at once said ‘No’, refusing to speak on Salman and walked away from the spot.” Sanjay has always been perceived as a recluse.

However, on the show, he is making an effort to show the audiences a more accessible, warm and encouraging side of his. Now since you are showing a differnet side of yours, Mr Bhansali isn’t it time to let go of past fights too?
