Dimple Kapadia is a diva: Rishi Kapoor

Ask actor Rishi Kapoor how it felt to work with his first heroine Dimple Kapadia again, in an upcoming film and he starts to shower the latter with praises.

“We last worked together about four-five years back, so it’s not been very long since we shared screen space. And Dimple is and always was a very fine actor,” says Rishi.

Rishi says that he was enamoured by Dimple’s ability to get into the skin of her character without worrying about her public image.

He elaborates, “Dimple had to put on a white wig for the movie and she did it without any hesitance. I don’t know many women in Bollywood who would do that. She’s a diva, that’s the best word to describe her.”

Their upcoming film also toplines actor Akshay Kumar who is incidentally Dimple’s son-in-law in real life and Rishi says that thanks to them, he got to gorge on delicious food on the sets almost everyday.

“Akshay eats the right food. He is a very fit man. So he would have a lot of home cooked food everyday and Dimple would bring exotic dishes for her damaad on the sets. So I got to savour a lot of it as well,” he says.

And it was thanks to this schedule that Rishi’s plans of controlling his diet went for a complete toss. But not one to regret good food, Rishi says that there’s always a next time to streamline your diet!
