A local court was today directed to proceed with a complaint that seeks a ban of Abhishek Bachchan starer Players on the grounds of obscenity.
A local lawyer filed the complaint that sought a ban on the screening of the movie scheduled to be released in theatres across the country tomorrow.
Chief Judicial Magistrate SP Singh directed Judicial Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Singh to conduct further proceedings related to the petition alleging use of obscene and vulgar posters in the movie.
The case is likely to come up for hearing on January 27.
