Collin Farrell to play bloodsucker in 'Fright Night' remake

Irish actor Collin Farrell has signed up to play a bloodsucker in a remake of 1985 cult classic Fright Night.

Collin has signed along actress Toni Collette and Anton Yelchin to play the bloodsucker-next-door originally portrayed by Chris Sarandon.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Farrell will portray vampire Jerry who secretly terrifies his neighborhood, and Collette will play the already-cast Anton Yelchin's single mom, reports The Daily Express.

Yelchin will play the teenager who is convinced the street's new resident has a deadly secret.
