The singer, who was raised in Hawaii, moved up one place on last week with 'The Lazy Song'.

Making way after four weeks at the top was American electro hip-hop duo LMFAO who slipped to number two. Their single 'Party Rock Anthem' had notched up sales of more than 4,00,000, making it the sixth biggest-selling single of the year so far.

Lady Gaga was a new entrant at number six with 'The Edge of Glory'.

In the albums chart, pop singer Adele showed no signs of giving up the top spot with '21', after 15 weeks at number one.
