Brian May credits clean-living ways for long and prosperous career

Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed that his clean-living ways are behind allowing him to have enjoyed such a long and prosperous career.

While speaking to Day and Night at the Classic Rock Roll of Honor, the 64-year-old musician also said that he is remarkably un-rock ‘n’ roll when it comes to behaviour normally associated with life on the road.

"You don't have to be drunk or stoned to enjoy music," the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

"I didn’t take the drugs and I was always very glad that I didn't because life has been real for me, all the thrills were real and not chemically induced," he added.
