Saif Ali Khan’s production company Illuminati Films’ debut film, Love Aaj Kal is directed by Imtiyaz Ali, whose last film, Jab We Met was a huge hit. The film starring Saif with Deepika Padukone for the first time, talks about the changing perception of love at different times.

Fast Forward
Release Date: 31st July 2009
Produced by Anjum Rizvi Film Co., this small budget film has Akshay Kapoor and Bhavna Pani in the lead. The film deals with the struggles of four youngsters to keep their passion for dancing alive, in spite of the adverse conditions.

Luck
Release Date: 24th July 2009 Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan and marks the debut of Kamal Haasan’s daughter, Shruti Hassan. Luck is an action, adventure film, which deals with how a person’s destiny can take him places. 

Morning Walk
Release Date: 10th July
This is the first film ever to be produced by Inox Motion Pictures. The film stars Anupam Kher with Sharmila Tagore, Rajit Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Shayan Munshi and Nargis. Avika Gor of  Balika Vadhu fame makes her big screen  debut with this film. Morning Walk is about how two families, though very diverse, connect through a special bond and how one morning walk changes their lives forever.
 
Shortkut the Con is On
Release date: 10th July
Anil Kapoor Film Company’s second release after Gandhi My Father. This comic film stars Akshaye Khanna, Arshad Warsi, Chunky Pandey and Amrita Rao. The film is directed by Neeraj Vohra. Shortcut the Con is On has Bollywood as its backdrop and talks of two strugglers, one actor and one director.
