Bipasha Basu-Ameesha Patel war heats up

It was not just a fashion faux pax, when Bollywood beauties Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel turned up wearing the same creation at the green carpet event of a recently held awards show in Toronto.

In fact, it fanned a full-blown war between the two who took to twitter to lash out at each other and even their fans, who dared to be caught in the tweet cross fire were not spared. That the two actors had spared no efforts in drawing out their claws at each other in the past too is well-known, when the two exchanged a verbal volley of snide remarks on a talk show.

But unlike the last time around, when the actors let the cold war cool off, this time around seems like neither is in a mood to let the matter die down. And sources reveal that fanning the simpering moods of the two hot-headed actors are their coterie of friends.

Apparently, a couple of Patel’s friends were overheard discussing the Bong actor’s love life loud enough to be heard by every table in a restaurant, while Basu’s fans and friends have been offering her their support through tweets. Another source also reveals that when it comes to talking about Patel, Basu's friends are no less.

They have been talking about how Patel doesn’t deserve words good or bad! Now even though both Patel and Basu may have been licking their own fashion wounds, their fans and friends are in no mood to let the matters cool off this once.
