Rock ‘N India is back again this year and is ready to take Bangalore by storm one more time. Bigger, better, louder, this time, the live performance by the legendary USA heavy metal band Metallica is sure to drive the crowds crazy. The annual festival produced by DNA Entertainment Networks will be held on October 30 at Palace Grounds.
Ahead of their first live appearance in India, Metallica declared, “We are so excited to be playing a show in a place we never thought in our wildest dreams we’d get to play. It’s an honour for all of us that we get to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert!”
Biffy Clyro, a popular Scottish rock band, will be opening for Metallica. The band comprises Simon Neil (guitar, lead vocals), James Johnston (bass, vocals) and Ben Johnston (drums, vocals). The band expanded their fan base significantly with the release of their fourth album, Puzzle in 2007 creating more mainstream songs with simpler rhythms. The album went gold in the UK, selling over 100,000 units. Also part of the opening act is the winner of the Vladivar Rock ‘N India — Band Search contest on Radio Indigo.
