Bhajji on love, marriage and rumoured girlfriend Geeta Basra

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who’s currently on a break due to his injury, is yet again trying his hand at television.  This time he will be seen on a wrestling show called Ring Ka King, where the maverick bowler will be the goodwill ambassador. Speaking to After Hrs while shooting for the show, Bhajji spills the beans about his marriage plans, television stint and more…

Ask him about his wedding plans and the cricketer gets a little worked up, refusing to talk about actor and rumoured girlfriend Geeta Basra, he replies, “Why are you all interested in my wedding?” On reminding him that it’s for his fans that are waiting for his wedding details, he quickly adds, “Whenever I’m destined to get married, I will. Besides, are there any issues if I stay single? Anyways I’ll let the world know a month in advance before getting married. So that all those interested can do all the shopping for my wedding and come to the venue (smirks).”

Ask him about the television show and Bhajji says, “I was always fond of wrestlers as I am from Punjab where pehelwans are the real heroes. And I loved watching them. But as my physique wasn’t very appealing for wrestling I found my calling in cricket. However, when Colors approached me to be the goodwill ambassador for the show, I just jumped at it since I love the sport ever since I was a kid.”
