Being brazen and bratty is now passe in Bollywood

It was cool to be the brats of Bollywood, and even better if you happen to have the ‘bad boy’ label as your calling card. The infamous apparently were believed to have the cake and the moolah too.

This, however, does not seem to hold true for Bollywood as it stands today. ‘Cause it seems to have a rippling effect on their work too. Besides causing bad blood between actors, it could cost them their films and endorsements too! Here are some who seem to have learned it the hard way and are turning a new leaf of late:

Salman Khan
Bollywood’s most celebrated bad boy, on and off the screen, seems to have changed and taken to being the good boy lately. Though the brash and outspoken nature continues to stay, the softer and more media-friendly side of Salman is more visible now. He’s now prefers to be talked about for his philanthropic work, charity shows or films than his arm candies.

Sanjay Dutt
While Sanjay Dutt has been written about for being on the wrong side of the law, personally as well as professionally, the  actor has surely turned over a new leaf after his marriage to former starlet Maanyata. Marriage seems to have calmed him down and given him a new lease of life, especially after the birth of his twins. Whatever seems to be the reason, we are now getting to see the good side to Sanjay more often.

Mallika Sherawat
Controversy is her middle name and so are her outrageous statements. Actor Mallika Sherawat, the brash and rebellious girl from Haryana,  has now learned to be diplomatic and measure her words. What’s more, she’s now shifted to associating with big names from Holly land  and also the US Prez, and she still does not care a damn if you call her a namesdropper.

Deepika Padukone
The stunning Deepika Padukone is always known to be politically right with her ways, but when it comes to speaking her mind, she’s always known to be outspoken. Of late, the outspoken side of her seems to have paved way to a more tactful talker.  The once candid actor, who did not mind wearing her heart on her sleeve, measures her words when it comes to personal matters especially after the high profile break-up with actor Ranbir Kapoor.  So ask her if she’s now seeing biz scion, Siddhartha Mallya? She simply smiles to that question put to her, and not even celeb hostess, Simi Garewal can get past that on her show.

Undoubtedly Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor, actor Ranbir Kapoor has been written about his charming ways with women ever since he stepped into filmdom. Following his break-up with Deepika Padukone, he was rumoured to be seeing co-actor Katrina Kaif, followed by Nargis Fakhri and now model Angela Jonsson. These link-ups, which he has time and time again denied  it has led him to now keep a distance from anything in skirts especially since it drastically changed his image of a potential role model.
