Avatar. The larger-than-life film has forced multiplex owners in Bangalore to ramp up the number of 3D screens before the movie hits the screens on December 18.

Avatar on December 18 that includes PVR, INOX, INOX Swagat, Fame Lido, Fun Cinemas, Fame Symphony, Mukundha theatre and Urvashi. They will be installing 3D screen for the first time for this movie,” said Vijesh S Teruvamba, regional manager, Fox Star studios, told DNA.
Some multiplex owners are bringing the best of technology for this movie. “For the first time, we are getting special 3D screens from abroad. We also have special 3D glasses, viewers will have to pay Rs200 as advance for the glasses that will be refunded once they return them,” said Monish Nipani, manager INOX.
