Ashish, Samita to marry on Jan 27

This is the season of marriages in Mumbai filmdom. While Aamir Khan ended last year on a happy note with his much-discussed  wedding held in Panchgani, marital bliss will soon call on actors Ashish Chaudhary and Samita Bangargi as the two eventually decide to get married at the end of this month.

Incidentally, the duo were the first hosts for World Disney cartoons in India and theirs perhaps will be the first film-land marriage in the new year. They have been going around for six years now.

It has been a smooth relationship for them thus far, except for some rumours recently of Chaudhary’s alleged affair with Riya Sen. It has been quashed for now though.

Meanwhile, the celebrations will be a five-day long affair with most of Chaudhary’s friends (like Sohail Khan and Zayed Khan) attending it, says a source.

“It is going to be a rocking wedding. Ashish was always committed to Samita and wanted to settle down with her eventually, but he was busy sorting things out. The wedding will take place at Taj Lands End (Bandra) on January 27. An entire coffee shop will be converted into a partying floor, since Samita likes to party. There will be a clubby night and a sangeet ceremony on 25th and a brunch at the Salt Water Grill (Chowpatty),” adds a source.

After marriage, the couple will move into their new home in Bandra, which Chaudhary has bought some months ago.

Meanwhile, when asked about the wedding, Chaudhary, though admitting it, wasn’t willing to spell out more details. s_ayaz@dnaindia.net
