Arjun Rampal turns into a tattoo artist

It may sound surprising, but it is true. Actor Arjun Rampal, who’s never revealed that there’s an arty side to him, has decided to pursue tattoo artistry as a hobby. Rampal, according to sources, discovered the artistic side to him when he was designing his look in a recently released film where he was playing the villain. According to sources, the whole tattoo that he sports on his back and on his arms is designed by the star themself.

“Arjun has turned into a tattoo artist for Shah Rukh Khan (actor) and designed the tattoo that he sports in the film. What’s more? Arjun has drawn inspiration from his love for video games and jig-saw puzzles to design the mammoth tattoo,” says a source, close to Arjun.

Describing how Arjun designed the look of the film, the friend of the star says that it is inspired from another of Arjun’s hobby – virtual gaming. “The tattoo is inspired from Arjun’s love for gaming. The length of the tattoo has binary codes that are linked with jig-saw puzzles. The binary codes are in black. Arjun took at least two weeks to perfect his tattoo and SRK gave him a complete free hand,” reveals a source, who was also assisting Arjun regarding his look in the film.

The source adds, “Arjun is bare-bodied in the film and the tattoo covers his entire torso and arms. Of course, it was a temporary tattoo which meant that he had to wear and remove it daily. It took over two hours daily to make the tattoo. But it adds so much to his character. It gives him a killer look.”

Arjun apparently is also considering creating tattoo designs when he is not busy filming. “He wants to sport all these tattoos on his own body. But if any of his colleague wants to use some of his tattoos, I am sure he or she is welcome to do that,” the source adds. For now, Arjun sports two tattoos of his daughters names on his arms.
