Anything for Big B

Actor Ajay Devgn put an ongoing shooting schedule in London on hold as he wanted to keep his date with actor Amitabh Bachchan last week.

“He was shooting with Priyan Sir (Priyadarshan) when he got a call from filmmaker Rohit Shetty saying that Big B would like to meet him on the sets of of his ongoing gameshow.

Devgn realised that the London schedule of the film Tez would take take weeks to complete so he didn’t have an option but to request Priyan to put the shooting on hold. He was adamant about wanting to meet Big B,” says a source.

Priyadarshan finally relented. When DNA got in touch with Devgn, he said,  “I had already committed to him (Amitabh Bachchan) about taking part in his show. I didn’t know that the shooting too would be scheduled around the same time,” said Devgn.

Needless to add, Bachchan was touched when Devgn told him that an entire film unit was on halt in London with Devgn attending Bachchan’s show.

The actor, who flew back to London after his two-day visit to the city, also got to spend time with wife Kajol and of course, his new-born kid Yug.
