Another Silk Smitha connection for Vidya Balan

Actor Vidya Balan — who is currently in Hyderebad shooting for Milan Luthria’s The Dirtyy Picture — is smiling ear to ear. Never mind the rumours of her marriage that are making the rounds the rounds, what the actor is excited about is the date of the film’s release that has finally been finalised.

According to sources, after much speculation it has been decided that the film will release on December 2 on Silk Smitha’s birthday itself on whom the film is based. The initial date was sometime in November. Vidya has been really gung-ho about this project and is excited about this development.

A source close to her says, “The film is very close to Vidya and she has really pushed the envelope to play a character so drastically different from anything she has played till date. Vidya has also lost a few inhibitions. She is also happy that the film is releasing on a date that is of some relevance. She had read up a lot on her before she started shooting and now she is glad the film is releasing in December.”

Emraan recently flew down to Hyderebad where he shot an intense lovemaking scene with Vidya and apparently, the scene has turned out really well. People who have seen it swear that it is steamy and sure to create controversy.
