Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal had 'intellectual orgy' on movie set

Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal had a saucy intellectual connection on the sets of Love and Other Drugs.

The actress has described their on-set brainstorming sessions for their roles as a form of lovemaking.

"Jake described it as a kind of intellectual orgy and I think that sums it up best!" the New York Daily News quoted her as telling London's Daily Mirror.

Following him, Hathaway described the romantic comedy as a "sophisticated look at adult love" not meant for teen eyes.

"I don't think they would understand it," she told the tabloid.

The stars have spent the past few months touring internationally to promote the film, most notably appearing nude on the cover of Entertainment Weekly in November.
