An affair rekindled?

Kanwaljeet - Neena Gupta have apparently revived their relationship reports Sapana Patil Poojary

Actors Kanwaljeet Singh and Neena Gupta are apparently seeing each other once again. The duo had created waves a few years ago when they were paired together in the serial ‘Saans’; not just for their on-screen chemistry but also for their off-screen rapport. Neena had directed the popular serial, dwelling on an extramarital relationship.

Although it was then alleged that Neena had created a rift between Kanwaljeet and his wife and actor Anuradha Patel, the two never came clean about their relationship.

History, now seems to be repeating itself. Kanwaljeet and Neena are paired together in ‘Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai’ (FILMY) and rumours about their relationship being revived are going strong.

A source reveals, “The two seemed more than comfortable with each other.” Adds another source, “The other day, when Kanwaljeet was dressed in a Jack Sparrow get-up (Johnny Depp in ‘The Pirates of Caribbean’), Neena looked at him with admiration. Kanwaljeet felt happy and smiled at her. He then, went up to her and kissed her on her forehead.”

A channel source also informs that Kanwaljeet was in two minds about taking up this show. “He didn’t want problems in his marriage again,” reveals the source adding, “It is also said that Anuradha was quite upset when she learnt that Kanwaljeet would be starring with Neena again. The husband-wife apparently had a major showdown over the issue.”

Suchita Shah, senior supervising producer, FILMY admits of having heard the buzz. “It is for their on-screen chemistry that we got them together, nothing else,” she however asserts.

Despite repeated attempts, Kanwaljeet did not respond to our calls and Neena could not be contacted. Recently, Neena was also said to be seeing Delhi-based chartered accountant Vivek Mehra.
