Amy Winehouse's dad felt her presence at funeral as butterfly

Amy Winehouse’s father has revealed that he felt his tragic daughter’s presence at her funeral after a black butterfly landed on pal Kelly Osbourne’s shoulder during his emotional eulogy.

The Back To Black singer was laid to rest in a private service three days after she was found dead in her London home on 23 July.

Mitch Winehouse remembered the singer in a moving tribute, recalling a number of amusing stories from his daughter’s childhood, as mourners such as Osbourne and producer Mark Ronson grieved.

But he’s adamant his daughter had sent them a sign from above to show her loved ones she was now at peace.

“When I did the eulogy at her funeral. As I got up to speak, a black butterfly came in. I had my head down ‘cause I was reading, and I could hear people muttering and I thought the paparazzi had got in,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying in an interview with US newsman Anderson Cooper, which aired on Monday.

“It (the butterfly) landed on Kelly Osbourne’s shoulder, then flew around me. Have you ever heard anything like that in your life? It’s incredible. Has anybody ever seen that?” he added.
