Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan unite for special cause

Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have starred together in a special video for the cause of visually handicapped children. The two superstars have recorded special video messages for the children of National Association of Blind (NAB). Even though the two stars will be seen separately in the video, Shah Rukh and Amitabh have come together after a long time. The video will be shown at a fashion show in Kolkata on January 31 which will also have Arjun Rampal, Juhi Chawla and Sharmila Tagore walking the ramp. At the end of the fashion show, every outfit showcased will be put under the hammer and the collected sum would go for the welfare of these children.

“Since I was a child, I wanted to meet Mr Amitabh Bachchan and finally because of this show, my dreams came true,” exclaims Agnitmitra Paul, a Kolkata-based fashion designer who managed to get the two stars together for the video.

Talking about her ‘feat’, the designer says, “Shah Rukh Khan was in Kolkata last week, that’s when the authorities at NAB fixed up a meeting with him. He asked me about the collection. Then, he agreed to record the video as he wouldn’t be able to be present in Kolkata on January 31. In his message to the kids, he encouraged them to ‘stand up on their feet and be successful’. This will be one of the biggest shows of my life.”
