All's well, says Sunjay Kapur

But Karisma remains mum about rumours of trouble.

After weeks of speculations about trouble brewing again in Sunjay and Karisma's marriage, there is finally word that it may be just that — speculation. While Karisma herself has not said a word, Sunjay has finally broken his silence on the matter.

"I really don't know why these rumours are going around. There is absolutely no truth in them. I was holidaying with Karisma and Samaira in England when I first heard that some film magazines and papers had written about our 'problems'. In fact, I told my lawyer to send them a legal notice," says the heir to the Sona Group.

While admitting that Karisma's silence on the matter could be one of the reasons fuelling the rumours, he added that this was entirely her prerogative. "I myself have encouraged Karisma to start working again so there's no question of a dispute on that front. Though she's staying mostly in Mumbai these days, we keep shuttling between Delhi and Mumbai," says Sunjay.

As for Samaira getting admitted into play school, Sunjay says it's not fair to read too much into that. "It's incidental that she's joined a play school in Mumbai. When she's in Delhi she'll go to a similar facility. Samaira is a very bright child and it's good for her to learn new skills and make friends."

Sunjay says he's very attached to his little bundle of joy and cherishes the time he gets to spend with her. "When she had turned a year old, I took her for a ride on my horse. It was such a thrill even for me. My company has become the master franchisee for German car and leasing major Sixt in India and lately I've been busy setting up operations in different cities, but whenever I get time I fly down on weekends to be with my family. I'll be expanding operations to Mumbai soon, so from August onwards, I'll be able to be with Samaira and Karisma for longer periods," he reveals.

Despite repeated attempts, Karisma remained unavailable for comment.
