Ali Zafar hurt, again

Injuries are a part and parcel of every actor’s job, be in Bollywood or Hollywood. The latest to join that category is Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar, who unfortunately was at the receiving end of a mishap.

Buzz is that Ali injured himself while shooting for a fight sequence. Many incidents take place when actors indulge in fight sequences and the latest happened on the sets of director David Dhawan’s next film the remake of the classic cult comedy Chashme Buddoor (1981). Actors Ayaz Khan and Ali were supposed to shoot for a fight sequence, which was an important sequence for the film. In the spur of the moment, the actors engaged in a fight sequence turned for the worse.

A source tells us, “Ali accidentally got himself hurt in the scuffle. Ayaz was totally into the character and he wanted to give his best but didn’t realise that he instead hurt his co-star.” “The whole episode happened so quickly that it took time to set in and for the rest of the crew to understand that Ali was hurt. Though the injury was unintentional, Ayaz immediately apologised for what had happened,” the source further adds.

Ayaz, who was last seen getting into a fight with actor Imran Khan in the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, says, “I was really upset about what happened, but accidents often take place and I’m glad that Ali is recovering fast from the injury and will resume shooting soon.”
