Akshay Kumar saves the day for Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Actor Akshay Kumar, who was apparently about to miss the first look unveiling of his next film, Rowdy Rathore, has decided to leave all his prior commitments behind and come for the event on filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s request.

Our source informs us that despite his busy schedule, with the promotional events of an upcoming film, Akshay has made some time out, only on Sanjay’s insistence. “Akshay is busy with promotions of Housefull 2. He simply has no time. So, when the dates, for the first look of his film with actor Sonakshi Sinha were announced, Akki realised that he can’t possibly make it. He confessed the same to the production team. On hearing this, Sanjay immediately called him up and had a long chat with Akki. By the end of the call, he was able to change Akshay’s mind.”

“Sanjay is leaving no stone unturned for his ambitious project. And he couldn’t just let the star of his film miss the event. He himself is currently in Gujarat for the reccee of his next film and is coming down from there to attend the event. He has made grand arrangements for the event, including the likes of shehnai and drums to create a buzz among people,” reveals a source.
