Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha to flag off Indian Grand Prix

Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha will kick off the races at the Buddh International Circuit for the upcoming Grand Prix. To be held on October 28, the actors are going to be at the event to promote their upcoming film Son Of Sardaar.

Both Ajay and Sonakshi will come together to sing the National Anthem next week, right before the race. The actors will then sit back and witness India’s biggest motor racing spectacle. An ardent fan of motor racing Ajay says, “I have been busy with the post production of Son of Sardaar and F1 is going to be a refreshing outing for me. It feels great to be a part of the sport that has the perfect combination of entertainment, action and excitement. I am surely going to enjoy the experience, and I wish luck to all the drivers.”

Looking forward to the whole experience, Sonakshi says, “Girls love fast cars and I just cannot wait for the race. F1 is a boys’ sport but I am going to prove that girls can enjoy it as well. This is my first time at a race and I’m going to make sure the experience is SOS size!”

Askari Zaidi confirmed on behalf of the organisers, “We are pleased to announce that Ajay  and Sonakshi will be a part of the final day ceremonies of the Indian Grand Prix.”

The film revolves around two warring Sardar families and is the remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna.
