Ajay Devgn’s friendship act

Ajay Devgn, who has been successfully running a production company having made hit movies like U, Me Aur Hum and All The Best, now wants to team up with friend and philosopher Prakash Jha. Ajay has garnered a lot of acclaim through Prakash’s movies like Gangajal and Apharan and is also in Jha’s next. However, despite the close bond, they have never done business together. And, Ajay says he would love to fund a Prakash Jha film.

“I have always loved his (Prakash Jha’s) films and I respect him for the person he is. He is a great human being and a very trustworthy friend. I’m really happy that we have worked together so closely and developed a great bond. It’s always good to take such friendships forward and if Prakash wants me to play the role of a producer for his movie, I would gladly do it.” Ajay says.

The actor is essaying the role inspired from Karna, a character inspired from the classic Indian epic Mahabharata. Karna was the elder brother of the Pandavas and the rightful heir to the throne being the elder to Yudhisthir.

“It’s a great character to play. Karn   was a man of words and principles and my character is just like him. It takes a lot of depth and talent to do this. I was drawn into doing the movie instantly,” Ajay ends.
