Ajay Devgn bats for girl education

The DNA Marathon is a great initiative to garner support for relevant social issues. I am all for the cause of education for girls and support it wholeheartedly. The fact that it’s a marathon for women speaks volumes about women empowerment and I would urge them to participate in this and run for a cause that deserves to be taken seriously.

We all know that a woman is the basis of our family and the soul of our society. Making sure that they are educated is the key that will automatically unlock the solution to a host of issues that the society faces. An educated woman makes for a stronger society and it is only when every child in our country is educated that we truly can consider ourselves to be truly progressive.

All for a cause Ajay Devgn and Kajol are both known to support the cause of girl education. Just as last year, this year too the couple donated Rs 10 lakh for the cause at a recent event hosted by ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. “Every child has a right to education and we all as individuals must try our best to ensure that children are not deprived of their basic right. As celebs, we can and should try to do the best possible to help bring about awareness for such noble causes,” the star had said earlier.
