Aishwarya's first professional appearance post pregnancy

Over the past couple of months, actor Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has been under the scanner for her personal life. The actor, who delivered a baby girl on November 16, has made a couple of public appearances post her delivery but she definitely believes in intensely guarding her personal life. Though the Bachchans have been flooded with offers from magazines to release the baby girl’s pictures for exorbitant amounts, they haven’t relented. The family is so particular about not divulging any details about the baby girl that though a box of sweets was sent out to scribes in Mumbai this week, the accompanying card did not mention the
newborn’s name.

Ash was in Dubai over the weekend to make an appearance for one of the brands she endorses. But unlike the majority of women who had turned up for the event, she didn’t sport a hat and a dress. She opted for a traditional red Anarkali salwar kameez.

Though she reportedly arrived in Dubai with her baby in tow, reportedly named Aaradhya, nobody managed to even click a picture of the girl. In fact, buzz is the Dubai crowds were a tad disappointed as they were hoping to get a glimpse of the Bachchan khandaan’s newest addition. Ash was  at the do to present an award, stayed there for about two hours and left the venue as she said she had to get back to India and was tired. She, however, noted, “I am delighted to be here and see such finely dressed women in their hats and beautiful dresses.”

Meanwhilte, while there has been speculation about the baby’s name right from her birth, grandfather, actor Amitabh Bachchan had vehemently denied all names that sprang up, but he had also maintained a stoic silence when the name Aaradhya came out, hinting that well could be the baby girl’s name.
