David Arquette has revealed that he has been reading self-help books to repair his broken relationship with estranged wife Courteney Cox.

The Hollywood couple announced their split back in October, but both insisted they will continue striving to work through their problems.

Arquette check into a rehab in January to address his drinking problem, and now he's revealed he has been reading about human behaviour in a bid to improve his relations with Cox.

"We're separated, we're working on ourselves and our relationship, and sort of figuring out what we want. You know, life's complicated and people go through changes. And I've been reading a lot of things about myself, reading books that talk about feelings and changes, and she's been working on herself a lot too.

"The great thing is that we really love each other... I'm her biggest fan and she's my biggest fan. You know, that's what it's all about really," the Daily Star quoted him as telling ETOnline website.
