British singing sensation Adele has turned down offers from record bosses to relocate to sunny California, because she loves England too much. The singer recorded her latest album ‘21’ in a posh estate in Malibu, LA, but couldn’t face making the move permanent.
“I am a London girl through and through,” the Sun quoted her as saying. “I felt very uncomfortable in Malibu. I felt at home with my producer Rick Rubin and the studio was incredible, but it’s not my kind of area.”
“Everyone lives behind a gate as they have so much money they don’t leave. It was a very surreal experience," she said. “I’m from a pretty rough area in London, so working in Malibu was a dream, but then I got brought back down to earth,” she added.
