Actress Meghaa reveals experiences with indecent proposals

Meghaa, the daughter of yesteryears actor Moushumi Chatterjee, says she was propositioned by a married man working in a reputed magazine. Interestingly, he was not aware that Meghaa was Moushumi’s daughter.

A friend of the upcoming actor says, “Meghaa had sent her photographs for a hair contest organised by the magazine. The gentleman then called her up enquiring if she was interested in modelling. The man even promised to feature her in the magazine as the face of the month and sent her a pair of branded sunglasses as a token of appreciation.”

However, the matter did not end there. The source said, “He called up again a few days later and insisted on meeting her. He said he had a wide network of contacts and that they should meet up so that deals could be worked out.”

But this time Meghaa did not take him so seriously. However, she was taken aback when again a month later he sent her a text message. “It read ‘Wassup! How are you?’ and gradually progressed to ‘I sent you a kiss. I hope you don’t mind. Won’t I get a kiss back’,” said the source.

Meghaa was stunned. The source adds, “She told him that he was married to which he sent across a text message replying, ‘Is me being married abstaining you from sending a kiss?’”

Meghaa finally told him that she was Moushumi Chatterjee’s daughter. “The man panicked and instantly sent a message back saying, ‘Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I was just joking’. He also requested Meghaa not to speak to the press about this,” the source added.

Meghaa confirmed the incident saying, “Earlier, I had only heard about these things happening. I didn’t know a man in a top position from a reputed organisation would hit on me like this. It was a very unpleasant experience for me.”
