Acting less stressful than filmmaking: Farah Khan

Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan, who will make her acting debut in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Shirin Farhad, says being an actress is all together a different ball game and is not as stressful when compared to making a film.

"When you are behind the camera everything is your stress especially when you are a producer and everything is going from your pocket and you are worried. When you are in front of the camera you just go there and do your job well. You don't have to worry about where the money will come and this much or that much amount money has been spent and all that," she said on the sidelines of the launch of the fourth season of reality show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega.

Farah will play the leading lady in Bhansali's next home production which will be directed by his sister Bela.

"It is a different experience in a way that I will have to actually go there and be someone else. This is something which I have never done as I have always been myself whether I am doing a reality show or a judge I have been Farah Khan. But in the film I have to be Shirin Fulawala. I think at this age it is good to be doing really something different and try something else," she said.

Farah will share screen space with actor Boman Irani who will play her husband in the film which is the love story of a Parsi couple.

"Shooting for the film will begin in October. I will be doing workshops for the film," she said.

Meanwhile, Farah is busy with her television assignments. Apart for hunting for talent for Star Plus's dance-based reality show Just Dance along with ace choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant and actor Hrithik Roshan, she will also judge Entertainment Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega on Sony with Anu Malik.
