Abu-Sandeep’s secret party for Abhishek-Aishwarya

After the baby shower was over in the afternoon, actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai went to designers’ Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s place in Bandra for a private baby shower party. A close aide to Abu and Sandeep says that it was a private party held only for the Bachchan parivar and their close associates.

“We want to wish the world of happiness to the baby. It’s so wonderful. But we would rather not talk about the party in the evening because it was a very private affair,” said Sandeep.
According to sources, though the couple was tired after day-long celebrations of their baby shower, AbhiAsh attended the party in the evening to honour their invitation.

“It was a very private celebration where some of the guests from the earlier party also attended. People showered their blessings on Aishwarya as Abhishek looked from a distance. The party didn’t go till late into the night as Aishwarya had to sleep on time but it went on till 10 pm,” the source adds saying that the fare at the party was simple traditional Indian and South Indian food.

“The fare also included some of Ash’s favourite South Indian dishes. She is very fussy about the fact that it has to be plain and simple. The dishes were made according to her tastes,” the source said, adding that Abu-Sandeep might have also gifted the couple a lovely matching ethnic wear that they had created for them.
