A sur-real experience
Unit members of Balaji telefilms started falling ill while shooting for a serial based on a real event. And now, the production house will conduct a pooja to ward of bad omens
Ekta Kapoor is known for her faith in Balaji.

So it was not surprising when they planned a story on the god in the finale of their show Koi Aane Ko Hai. However, things went haywire for the unit members once the writers began writing the story. It was to salvage the situation that the production team decided to conduct a special pooja.

Koi Aane Ko Hai is a show where every story is based on real events that have happened somewhere in the country. The production house decided to do a story based in south India. God Balaji is intricately related to the story. However, as the story began developing, strangely a few unit members began falling sick. This sent jitters through the whole team.

Vikas Gupta, the creative head of the show, says, "Three people — the writer, associate creative head and a production member fell sick one after the other. So, we thought that these were bad omens. It left everyone so scared that they thought of abandoning the idea of filming the story. However, Ekta wanted the show to happen at any cost."

Gupta adds, "We have organized the pooja at the studio where we are shooting the particular episode. We don't want anything else to go wrong with the unit members," he ends.
