While new revelations and big names involved in the drugs nexus keeping coming out with every passing day, here's a list of celebrities who have been previously arrested on charges of druge use.
Two leading heroines -- Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh -- and a fashion designer -- Simone Khambatta -- are said to be under the scanner of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after actress Rhea Chakraborty is said to have taken their during her interrogation by NCB.
Rhea is said to have made these confessions that these three ladies did drugs with her and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea has told the agencies that 80 per cent of Bollywood stars are on drugs. There are also reports that NCB is set to summon 25 prominent Bollywood stars in the drug investigations.

1. Rhea Chakraborty

On 8th September 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Jalebi star Rhea Chakraborty in drugs-related case filed by the NCB, as part of investigation into Sushant`s death.
Rhea, whose bail plea was rejected by a Mumbai court on Friday, had alleged that she was "coerced" into making "self-incriminating confessions" during her interrogations by NCB for three days this week, and maintained that she has not committed any crime whatsoever but was being falsely framed in the case.
Retracting her "self-incriminating confessions", she termed her arrest as "unwarranted, without any justification," "arbitrarily curtailed her liberty", she faced death and rape threats and there were no female officers present during her interrogation, which took place on Sep. 6,7, and 8, with her arrest coming on the final day.
2. Sanjay Dutt

One of the most high-profile cases of a Bollywood actor being arrested for drugs possession was that of Sanjay Dutt.
In 1982, Dutt was arrested in a drug case and was sentenced to a 5-month jail term, following which his father former Hindi Cinema star and politician Sunil Dutt, sent him to a rehabilitation center in the US.
The actor is currently undergoing treatment at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai for lung cancer.
3. Fardeen Khan

Son of late veteran actor Feroz Khan, Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan, who has been seen on the silver screen since his last release ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ in 2010, was arrested for drugs possession in 2001. Same year, he underwent a detoxification course.
4. Robert Downey Jr.

Robert, who as child was surrounded by drugs since his father was an addict, had the first encounter with it when he was six. Eventually, even though he made a name for himself in films, he ended up being an alcohol and drug addict. And subsequently, from 1996 through 2001 he was arrested multiple times for the possession and consumption of drugs -- heroine, cocaine and marijuana.
However, his is a real-life story one could take inspiration and motivation from. After five years of substance abuse, arrests, rehab, and relapse, Downey, who made a comeback to films and restarted his career, is now one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood.
5. Snoop Dogg

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. aka Snoop Dogg, was first arrested for possession of cocaine soon after he graduated from high school. And then for the next three years he would be in and out of jail for the same reasons. In 1990, he was convicted for illegal possession of drugs. Then again, in 2015, he was detained by the Swedish police for illegal use of drugs.
