Bigg Boss is possibly the most watched and the most controversial reality shows of all time. With sky high TRPs in the past eight seasons, Colors and Endemol have teamed up yet another time for Bigg Boss 9 which goes on air tonight. The grand launch is indeed happening with the show premiering today. What's the concept this time? Double Trouble! What's that? Well, this time, the 14 contestants who will be entering Bigg Boss will be segregated into pairs. The seven pairs will then continue with the game which will be played out for the next 105 days. Yes, the contestants will have to battle through a gruelling 105 days of fun, fights, fallouts and fanaticism to emerge as the Bigg Boss 9 champion.
While Salman Khan had previously announced last year that he will not be continuing with the show anymore, the superstar will once again anchor the show this year as well. Anticipation levels have sky-rocketed and here's welcoming that time of the year. It's Bigg Boss time!
Salman Khan makes a grand entry sporting his latest Sultan avatar and guess who he has with him on stage? Salman's joined by his Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah and the two perform on Photocopy from their film, setting the right mood for the show.
The last pair enter the house!
While the 6 pairs are all inside, here's the final jodi that will enter the show. Ankit Gera and Arvind Vegda. Who are they? Ankit is a popular TV star who's quite a casanova while Arvind Vegda is a Gujarati musician known for his popular chartbusters that rock dandiya and garba festivals in the country.

And there's a strange connection Ankit has in Bigg Boss already. Roopal's his ex girlfriend and after their bad public break-up, Roopal had gone on records claiming that she will slap Ankit if he tries to talk to her. With both of them locked up inside the house now, do we see the thappad coming soon? Your guess is as good as ours!
Mandana's paired with Keith Sequeira!
Mandana gets to pick her teammate. The choices given? Ankit Gera and Keith Sequeira. Although she liked Ankit initially, eventually she picks Keith over Gera.
Another hot guy on the block this year, it's Keith Sequeira who will be seen walking the show with ladylove Rochelle Rao in tow. Will the real life couple surive the double trouble? We don't know that but they are surely raising the temperature with their good looks.

Roadies X2 winner Prince Narula might have won the show but on Bigg Boss 9, he isn't quite a favourite. After getting rejected four times consecutively, Prince finally gets his better half for the game. Rochelle or Mandana- who will it be? Who will sacrifice? And here's the twist. While the girls are indecisive, Prince finally gets his moment of glory. He gets to choose his partner and he picks Rochelle Rao!

So joining the four jodis which are already in the house will be Rochelle and Prince. Rochelle who doesn't seem to like the idea much can be seen making faces. Double Trouble already? You bet!
Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao scorch the Bigg Boss stage!
This year's firang import is here. Mandana Karimi. And joining her is Femina Miss India International 2012 winner Rochelle Rao. But they aren't paired together! Who will they choose? Let's find out.
Another firang beauty, Mandana recently grabbed headlines for her oomphy dance track from the recently released Bhaag Johnny. And she's all set to star opposite Tusshar Kapoor in Balaji's next Kya Super Kool Hai Hum. With the Censor Board banning their film, it would be interesting to see what Mandana brings on the table!
On the other hand is Rochelle. An Indian model and anchor, Rochelle Rao has also been crowned the Femina Miss India International three years back. After an anchoring assignment with IPL and a reality show (Khatron Le Khiladi) later, Rao will now be seen turning up the oomph on Bigg Boss.
Yuvika chooses Vikas over Prince!
It's barely been an hour into the show and Prince Narula has already faced four rejections. After Digangana, Kishwar and Rimi, Yuvika too decides to dump Prince and choose Vikas Bhalla instead.

So after Yuvika, it's Vikas who's entering the show. Vikas is famous for two reasons- one for his successful TV career and the other for being Prem Chopra's son-in-law. The hot and dashing Vikas Bhalla will be making his entry into the Bigg Boss house this year. Guess his long standing relationship with the channel made him say a yes this time!
Welcome Contestant #7 - Yuvika Chaudhary
Remember Shah Rukh Khan's heroine from the film he was shooting in Om Shanti Om? Yes, Yuvika Chaudhary who played Bindu's daughter in OSO is entering the show this season. Her Bollywood career never quite took off so we believe Bigg Boss might give her the necessary footage that she wanted! She's already got two choices to be partnered with. Prince Narula again and Vikas Bhalla. Will Prince get dumped for the fourth time?
Rimi enters the show with Suyyash!
Rimi Sen raises temperature with her raunchy performance on a mix of Asalam-e-Ishqu m and her own Dhoom number 'Dil bole' and the 'Paisa Fek' number from Johnny Gaddar. Like every year, Bigg Boss is trying to reconstruct the Bollywood career of another failed heroine. This time, its Bong darling Rimi Sen. She's the most popular face among all the contestants, thanks to the Hungama and the Dhoom she created in her filmy career. But that too was short-lived. With no great roles coming by, Rimi has taken up BB9 as her redemption. Let's see how she fares!

While Kishwar was given two choices- Prince and Aman, she chose the latter. And who chose Suyyash? Rimi, of course! And guess what? This means yet another rejection for Prince.
Kishwar chooses Aman Verma!
Seems it's not Prince's day at all! After Digangana, even Kishwar chooses someone else over Prince Narula. Who? Aman Yatan Verma! Yes, the celebrated TV anchor cum actor is finally entering the show. After being in news for entering the show every year, Aman finally decided to take up the challenge this year. He's been one of the most recognised faces on TV. If Khulja Sim Sim got him the recognition, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi made him a popular face in the TV arena. But soon, a sting operation had Aman's career going through the roughest patch ever.
The first couple on the show this year makes their entry!
Real life couple Suyyash Rai and girlfriend Kishwar Merchant are the first couple on Bigg Boss 9 this year. And as expected, they make their entry together - dancing to the soothing Ae Mere Humsafar. But twist toh banta hai boss! The real life couple will indeed be separated while playing the game and each of them will have to pick individual partners. Who will they choose? We'll find out soon!
Contestant #2 - Roopal Tyagi
Digangana gets to pick her partner. The choices? Roopal Tyagi and Prince Narula! And who did Digangana pick? Roopal. Why? "We have a lot of common friends so I've met her before. I don't know Prince at all," she explains. And Digangana welcomes her partner- Roopal Tyagi!
Another TV star who's popular for her small screen stint, Roopal was recently seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Relaoded. With Bigg Boss 9 now, the actress will be one of the few contestants to have acted in back to back reality shows with the same channel. Would she have also chosen Digangana over Prince? "Yes, I would have chosen the girl because ladkiyon se meri zyada banti hai," she tells Salman.
