I want to move on peacefully, says Queenie

Two years later, the rumours have turned out to be true, with both Queenie and Farhad now separated from their respective spouses.

So, why did Queenie, who is normally very private about her personal life, decide to come clean on her relationship with Farhad? She says, “I don’t need to justify why I did, or what I said. Whatever I had to say I’ve said, and I don’t want to talk about it anymore,” she says, adding she is not too bothered about the negative reactions to the interview. “People will think or say whatever they want to, no matter what.”

She does, however, stress that whatever steps she has and will take in her life will be centered round her kids. “I will never ever do or say anything that would harm them. One only takes a step after one knows one’s kids are okay. My children are privy to my mind before I take any decision. I love my kids and I would protect them to the very end. I would just like to move on peacefully, without any animosity towards anyone,” she says.
