Bollywood on Flo Rida's hitlist?

Singer-songwriter Flo Rida talks about music, collaborations and even hints a possible entry into Bollywood in a conversation with DNA.

How has the worldwide response for your new track Good Feeling been? What is the next track you’re working on?
It’s legendary, we got Etta James featured in there, so it’s crazy, he told MTV News from the 2011 VMA black carpet on Sunday that it has been unprecedented. Produced by Dr Luke (who’s known for creating some of the biggest number one records), I’m very excited.

You’re playing in India for the first time. What do you expect from the crowds?
It’s a honour to be part of this historical event and I’m going to make sure tear the roof off! I have to thank the whole organisation for bringing me out. Specially DNA Networks and Heavy Rotation Booking who made that happen.

Did you expect your tracks to become as popular as they’ve become when you first started out?
You can never know if a song will be successful, other than that there would be a recipe for success, but there isn’t. I know when I have made a good song or not, but that’s still for the crowds and my fans to decide. I guess that’s not really in my hands. But yes I don’t consider myself to do bad music; I wouldn’t release it otherwise.

Your music involves a lot of collaboration, from popular artistes in the United States to Malaysia. What’s been the most interesting?
I can’t really say which has been my favourite collaboration, but I always love working with people from my home state Florida. I would have to say, that T-Pain is one of my favourite artistes that I have collaborated with.

Would we see you collaborate for a Bollywood soundtrack? Are you familiar with Bollywood?
We will find out soon!
