Nothing has broken the internet the past few days quite like news of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' rumoured engagement has. The two have become the international 'it' couple over the past few months, and have attracted the eyes of everyone who still can't say for sure if they're even in it for the long haul to begin with. Through Met Balls and cycling tours, from London to Goa, here is a timeline of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' relationship, from then to finish.
1. The first meeting (Before May 2017)

Priyanka and Nick first met prior to the 2017 Met Gala, where they were introduced by Graham Rogers, a mutual friend who co-starred with Priyanka Chopra in Quantico and also with Nick in the 2015 film Careful What You Wish For. But then eventually, the world caught on when...
2. The Met Gala 2017

...Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas debuted in the 2017 Met Gala together, wearing Ralph Lauren. They both said that they knew each other prior to the event, and when they found out they were each wearing Ralph Lauren, they decided to go together. This was followed by a lot of mushy posting and commenting on Instagram and snaps at social events like Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert and at a Dodgers game.
3. Priyanka meets the Jonases (Early June 2018)

It suddenly became a lot more serious when Nick introduced Priyanka to the rest of his family at a cousin's wedding in Atlantic City. His brothers instantly loved her, while the rest of the family eventually warmed up to her as well. The event, overall and in terms of their relationship, was a big success.
4. Nick lands in Mumbai (Late June 2018)

For us Indians, it all became a lot more official when the two of them touched down in Mumbai in June of 2018. Priyanka brought Nick home to meet her mother, who didn't form much of an opinion of him at first but then apparently started liking him a lot more. Frequent sightings of the two sent the internet and the paparazzi into a tailspin.

As Nick and Priyanka started making more public appearances is when we started to realise that this might be a lot more serious than we thought. The two hightailed it off to Goa with the rest of the Chopra family, including Parineeti Chopra, and even made an appearance together at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta's pre-engagement party.
6. A romance around the world (Early July 2018)

Priyanka eventually went to Brazil to attend Nick's Villamax Concert. The two then spent Fourth of July in New York with the rest of the Jonas brothers, and the two were seen cycling through the city with Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Joe's fiance, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. After that is when the two made their way...
7. London and 'I Do' (Mid-Late July 2018)

...to London! In London, the two celebrated Priyanka's 36th birthday with Joe and Sophie. That, reportedly, is eventually when Nick proposed to Priyanka and even shut down a Tiffany's store so he could buy an engagement ring for her. Now that's dedication!
8. The future?

It's apparently this very (suspected) same engagement that caused Priyanka to walk out of Salman Khan's Bharat, something which Ali Abbas Zafar even hinted at with his cryptic tweet that specified 'in the Nick of time'. Now only time will tell whether the two actually have gotten engaged (and, reportedly, might have an October 2018 wedding) and if another big Bollywood wedding is in the cards.
