These celebrities will not be seen at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' high profile engagement bash
After the traditional roka ceremony, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will get engaged all over again on August 18, in the presence of Bollywood celebs.
Actors have already started gathering at Priyanka's Juhu residence. Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut are some of the celebrities that are expected to be seen at the party tonight.
However, interestingly, some of the biggest names from the industry like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone will give it a miss.
1. Shah Rukh Khan

We really don't need to tell you why Shah Rukh Khan would not be attending Priyanka Chopra's engagement as the reason is quite clear and known to one and all!
2. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan has never been on very good terms with Priyanka Chopra. Rumours of their fall out sparked from PC's very first film 'Aitraaz', which also starred Kareena. The actress is currently in Dubai and even if she would have been in the city, it was highly unlikely that she would have attended the party.
3. Salman Khan

If you're wondering that Salman Khan will skip the bash because he is upset with Priyanka then maybe you're wrong. The actor will not be able to mark his presence at the party because he is currently in Malta, shooting for 'Bharat'.
4. Deepika Padukone

Deepika is more likely to skip the engagement owing to her alleged cold war with PeeCee. Ranveer Singh, however, is expected to attend.
5. Katrina Kaif
)
Katrina Kaif left for Malta just a few days ago and hence she won't be seen at the party. It should be recalled that it's Katrina who replaced Priyanka in 'Bharat'. So, even if she would have been in Mumbai, she might would have wanted to give it a miss.
6. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

While Abhishek Bachchan continues to be on great terms with Priyanka, it's highly unlikely that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be attending the engagement. Earlier it was reported that it was on Aish's insistence that Abhishek walked out of Priyanka's 'The Sky Is Pink'.
7. Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor is very much in town but he won't be attending Priyanka's engagment for the same obvious reason for which he hadn't attended Kareena Kapoor's wedding!
8. Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting 'Brahmastra' in Bulgaria. So, don't expect to see him at the engagement bash.
