Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were taken to Mumbai's Nanavati hospital on Friday. Both Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan are currently being treated for the coronavirus. Here's all we know so far about the Bachchan family's health.

Amitabh Bachchan was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus last week and has been in the Nanavati hospital undergoing treatment. Amitabh has regularly been keeping his fans updated about his health. He tweeted today, "T 3597 - In happy times , in times of illness, you our near and dear, our well wishers, our fans have ever given us unstinting love , affection care and prayer .. we express our bountiful gracious gratitude to you all .. in these circumstances hospital protocol, restrictive !"

BMC confirmed on Friday that they both have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Officials have confirmed that Aishwarya and Aaradhya were both admitted to the hospital on Friday after Aishwarya developed some symptoms like fever.

Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agasthya Nanda, on the other hand, had tested negative for the virus on Sunday and remain at home.

Abhishek Bachchan had taken to his Twitter account and said that he had been diagnosed with coronavirus right after Amitabh was admitted. He tweeted, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you."
